Fit for the Knicks
Some of these actions resemble what the Knicks ran this season. For example, the gut pin-down is similar to the Gut Chicago sets they used for Jalen Brunson, and they’ve also incorporated their own version of the Away Series. There are even more opportunities here for Brunson to work off the ball, something he’s excelled at throughout his career. The overall movement and pace in the half court could benefit everyone, especially when it comes to Brunson’s effectiveness in ball-screen situations.
